Minister Dhananjay Munde resigns after aide held for Sarpanch's murder in Maha

Maharashtra Minister of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Dhananjay Munde resigned on Tuesday after CM Devendra Fadnavis reportedly asked him to step down. This comes after his close aide Walmik Karad was arrested in connection to the murder of Massajog village Sarpanch Santosh Deshmukh. He was kidnapped, tortured and murdered on December 9 last year.
