Minister spoke truth but was made villain: Abhijeet on Daler row

Singer Abhijeet Bhattacharya addressed the Uttarakhand Minister Subodh Uniyal-Daler Mehndi controversy during his performance at Chhattisgarh Rajyotsav 2026. Without naming them, he said the minister spoke the truth when he questioned his live performance but ended up becoming the villain. Abhijeet added that he would never cheat his audience or merely move his lips in the name of singing.
