Misbah-ul-Haq resigns as Pakistan selector after 7 players sent home from England

Ex-Pakistan captain Misbah-ul-Haq has resigned from Pakistan men's national selection committee the day after Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) sent seven players home from England and sacked head coach Sarfaraz Ahmed mid-series. He has also stepped down from his role as batting consultant at Pakistan's National Cricket Academy in Lahore. Notably, Pakistan are trailing the three-match Test series 0-2.
