Misplaced gold handed by public to police goes missing from Kerala station

Around eight sovereigns of gold ornaments, handed over by the public after being found misplaced, allegedly went missing from Karipur police station in Kerala. The gold ornaments that are missing include three gold chains, two earrings, a ring and a bracelet. An inquiry has been launched and statements of police officials at the station have been recorded, officials said.
