Miss Universe contestant Qi Jia from China withdraws after visa delay

Miss Universe 2023 contestant from China, Qi Jia, has withdrawn from the competition after missing out on pre-finale competitions in El Salvador. Miss Universe China officials said, "The organising committee and the champion, Qi Jia, applied for El Salvador visa as soon as her coronation was announced...however, due to the delay in issuance...she lost more than a week of activities."
