Missing 80 mins of sleep each night may lead to weight gain: Study

People who shortened their sleep by about 80 minutes a night for six weeks gained an average of around 453 grams, a Columbia University study found. "Our study shows that getting adequate sleep may help reduce weight gain risk," a researcher said. The study involved 95 adults who usually slept 7-8 hours and were instructed to delay their normal bedtime.
