Mississippi legalises medical marijuana, becomes 37th US state to do so

Mississippi Governor Tate Reeves signed a bill into law legalising the use of medical marijuana for people with debilitating conditions such as cancer, Alzheimer's, and autism. Mississippi is the 37th US state to legalise medical marijuana. The measure also allows cannabis to be prescribed for any "pain state in which...cause of the pain cannot be removed or otherwise treated".
