Mistral AI borrows ₹7,800 cr to buy Nvidia chips for 1st data centre

France-based Mistral AI secured $830 million (over ₹7,800 crore) in debt to purchase 13,800 Nvidia chips for its first data centre. The debt raise was funded by seven banks, including BNP Paribas, HSBC, and MUFG. The company targets 200 MW of capacity across Europe by 2027 end and also announced plans for a second facility in Sweden last month.
