Misunderstanding that needs to be resolved: Portugal FA chief on row over Ronaldo's exit

Portugal Football Federation president Pedro Proenca has called the controversy around Cristiano Ronaldo's exit from national team a misunderstanding. "He'll always be part of this squad if he is technically fit to play...What happened was a misunderstanding that needs to be resolved internally," he said. The 41-year-old left the squad after not being named in the starting line-up against Denmark.
