MIT unveils autonomous boat 'Roboat II' that can carry passengers

The Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) unveiled an autonomous boat "Roboat II" on Monday, that is capable of carrying two passengers. Developed by MIT's Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory and the Senseable City Lab, the robotic boat is 2-metre long, COVID-19 friendly and capable of assembling itself into a larger vessel that can be commanded by a main boat.
