MIT uses wireless signals and AI to monitor COVID-19 patients at home

Researchers at MIT have created a wireless device, called Emerald, that claims to detect COVID-19 patients' movements at home. The device, which resembles a WiFi router, uses AI and wireless signals to also detect a patient's breathing and sleep patterns. It can tell when a patient is having trouble breathing and the information can be accessed by a doctor remotely.
