Mithun Chakraborty to be honoured with Dadasaheb Phalke award

Veteran actor Mithun Chakraborty will be honoured with Dadasaheb Phalke Lifetime Achievement award on October 8, Information and Broadcasting Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw said. Talking about the 74-year-old actor-politician, Vaishnaw said, "Mithun da's remarkable cinematic journey inspires generations!" Chakraborty, who joined BJP in 2021, has also served as TMC MP in Rajya Sabha.
