Mizoram CM asks PM to remove state chief electoral officer

Mizoram CM Lal Thanhawla has written a letter to PM Narendra Modi seeking the immediate removal of the state's Chief Electoral Officer SB Shashank. In his letter, Thanhawla claimed that people in Mizoram have lost faith in Shashank and his removal from the post is necessary for the smooth implementation of the upcoming Assembly elections in November.
