MLA Gurmeet Singh, who was set to fight Raj polls this month, dies

Rajasthan MLA Gurmeet Singh Kooner passed away on Wednesday while undergoing treatment at AIIMS. The 75-year-old died of sepsis with septic shock and renal disease, his death certificate said. He was also suffering from hypertension. Notably, the Congress leader was set to fight state Assembly elections this month from Karanpur. CM Ashok Gehlot said, "I'm deeply saddened by the news."
