MLA in Odisha fails to turn up to his own wedding, wife-to-be files police complaint

BJD MLA Bijay Shankar Das failed to turn up to his own wedding in Odisha, following which his wife-to-be filed a police complaint. In her complaint, the woman alleged that Bijay cheated her as he didn't turn up at the marriage registrar's office. "I wasn't informed by her or anyone else to go to the marriage registrar’s office," Bijay claimed.
