MMT deceives customers through 3x refund policy: Morpheus Research

A Morpheus Research report alleged that MakeMyTrip's Alternate Trip option on its RedRail app, offering users a 3x refund on unconfirmed train tickets, is a dark pattern designed to deceive users. It only refunds the base fare, same as that of Indian Railways. The rest of the amount, which is twice the fare, is offered to users as a voucher.
