Mob kills All Assam Students' Union leader in Jorhat, 13 arrested

At least 13 people were arrested for beating an All Assam Students' Union leader, Animesh Bhuyan to death in Jorhat, police said. A mob attacked Animesh and others after suspecting them of hitting a man riding a scooter. "We've arrested...the main culprit, a person with criminal antecedents who is also the father of the person riding the scooter," police added.
