Mob tries to storm Manipur CM Biren Singh's house over death of 6 hostages

A mob tried to storm Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh's personal residence on Saturday evening while protesting against the death of six hostages, including an eight-month-old infant, from Jiribam. The mob was upset over inaction and lack of communication from government and had demanded to meet lawmakers. Security forces had to fire tear gas shells to disperse the protestors.
