Mob vandalises police post over loudspeaker volume in WB, several arrested

A mob allegedly pelted stones and vandalised a police post after police urged the locals and mosque authorities to reduce the loudspeaker’s volume in West Bengal's Asansol. Police lathicharged the protesters to pacify the situation and claimed that several police and civilian vehicles were damaged in the incident. Several of the accused were later arrested after the incident.
