Mobile tower installed in Putkel village in Bijapur district

In a significant stride towards bridging the communication gap, a new mobile tower has been installed in Putkel village, one of the most insurgency-affected areas of Basaguda in Bijapur district. The installation comes under the joint efforts of the Chhattisgarh government's 'Niyad Nella Nahar' scheme and the Centre’s Universal Service Obligation Fund (USOF) initiative.
