Mocked as ‘petty thief’, UP man kills to build fear

Two daily wagers in Uttar Pradesh's Saharanpur allegedly murdered a 32-year-old accountant to create a fearsome criminal reputation. Police said the accused, mocked as a "petty thief" after a family dispute, randomly targeted the victim, strangled him, and smashed his head with a brick. The victim's body was later recovered from a drain. Both accused have been jailed.
