MoD ends major CSD card renewal hassle for veterans

MoD has removed a major hurdle for retired armed forces personnel by allowing CSD card renewals anywhere in India. Veterans will no longer need to return to their original military units for renewal. A new circular directs local authorities to process applications after verifying PPO or e-PPO documents, offering huge relief to thousands of defence pensioners across the country.
