Monaco striker Paris Brunner is facing a ban after being referred to the disciplinary body of Ligue 1 for celebrating a goal with a throat-slitting gesture. The German player, who levelled with a long-range strike in Saturday's 1-1 draw against Strasbourg, has apologised for the controversial celebration. Brunner has scored three goals in four Ligue 1 2026-27 matches so far.
