Mondelez invests $15 mn in research facility in Thane

Confectioner Mondelez International, which makes Cadbury chocolates, has invested around $15 million to build a global Research, Development, and Quality hub in Thane, Maharashtra. "This center will combine the high-end skills of our local team with global learnings and best practices to develop products...globally," a Mondelez official said. The facility is expected to be operational by mid-2018.
