Money power, weak Oppn render elections lacklustre in Arunachal

In Arunachal Pradesh’s Ziro, the upcoming elections lack the usual hustle and bustle. Hage Appa of the BJP won the Ziro-Hapoli Assembly constituency unopposed, leaving voters baffled. With 10 BJP candidates elected uncontested, voting will occur in only 50 Assembly constituencies and two parliamentary seats. Some feel deprived of their right to vote.
