Monfils becomes oldest ATP title winner since Ken Rosewall in 1977

Gael Monfils created history at the ASB Classic in Auckland on Saturday when he became the oldest man to win a tour-level title since a 43-year-old Ken Rosewall claimed the 1977 Hong Kong trophy. Monfils, 38, defeated Zizou Bergs with a scoreline of 6-3, 6-4 in the ATP 250 hard-court final to claim his 13th tour-level title.
