Mongolia closes border with China to prevent spread of virus

Mongolia closed its border crossings with China for vehicles and pedestrian traffic on Monday to prevent the spread of new coronavirus. The country also shut its educational institutes till March 2 and prohibited public events. Mongolia's Deputy PM Enkhtuvshin Ulziisaikhan said that the restrictions were imposed after coronavirus cases were found in China's neighbouring region of Inner Mongolia.
