Monsoon losses in Himachal Pradesh reach ₹1,550 crore
Monsoon-related infrastructure losses in Himachal Pradesh have reached an estimated ₹1,550 crore. The Public Works Department reported the highest damage at over ₹1,100 crore, followed by the Jal Shakti Department at ₹368 crore and the Power Department at ₹21 crore. Between June 30 and September 9, the state reported 286 deaths, including 172 in road accidents and 39 from falls.
