Monsoon to arrive in Kerala within 24 hours, earliest in 16 years

The monsoon is set to arrive in Kerala within the next 24 hours as all favourable conditions for monsoon have developed over the state. While the usual date for the monsoon's arrival is June 1, it will be nearly a week early this year. It will also mark the earliest onset of monsoon in Kerala in 16 years.
