Monsoon to be 'normal' in August, September 2nd half: IMD

The monsoon rain is likely to be "normal" in the second half of August and September between 95% to 105% of the long-period average, the India Meteorological Department stated. Normal to above-normal rainfall is likely over most parts of northeast India and peninsular India in August. For the next two days, heavy rain is predicted over east Rajasthan.
