Morbi Nagar Palika chief officer suspended over bridge collapse: Reports

The chief officer of Gujarat's Morbi Nagar Palika Sandipsinh Zala has reportedly been suspended following the Morbi bridge collapse incident that killed 135 persons. Police have arrested nine persons in connection with the incident so far. An Oreva Group manager, Deepak Parekh, who is among those arrested earlier said it was "the will of God" that the incident took place.
