More fans attend FIFA WC 2026 than previous two editions combined

More fans have attended the FIFA World Cup 2026 than the previous two editions combined, FIFA announced on Monday. Total attendance at this year's tournament, which is being held in the US, Canada and Mexico, has reached 65,27,410 following Match 100, the quarter-final between Argentina and Switzerland. The 2022 and 2018 editions were held in Qatar and Russia, respectively.
