More people in Gaza could die of diseases than bombings: WHO

More people could die of diseases due to overcrowding, lack of food, water, sanitation and basic hygiene than bombings in Gaza, Director-General of WHO, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said. Thousands of cases of acute respiratory infections, scabies, lice, diarrhoea, skin rash, impetigo, chickenpox and jaundice are being reported in Gaza, he said, adding that there's a need for a sustained ceasefire.
