More women than men walk to work in India: World Bank report

More women tend to walk to work as compared to men and women are among the biggest users of public transport across Indian cities, according to a World Bank report. Nearly 45.4% of women against 27.4% of men walk to work, the report stated, adding, more women are likely to consider affordability into account when travelling.
