Morgan Stanley picks Coinbase and BNY Mellon for Bitcoin ETF

Morgan Stanley filed an amended S1 for its Bitcoin Trust, naming Coinbase as custodian and BNY Mellon as administrator. This makes Morgan Stanley the first US bank to file for a spot Bitcoin ETF. The trust aims to give investors exposure to Bitcoin through regular brokerage accounts without requiring them to hold the cryptocurrency directly.
