Morocco halts all incoming flights for 2 weeks over Omicron variant

Morocco on Sunday announced a ban on all incoming flights from around the world for two weeks from Monday due to the rapid spread of the new Omicron COVID-19 variant. The decision was taken to "preserve the achievements realised by Morocco in the fight against the pandemic, and to protect the health of citizens", the Foreign Ministry said.
