Moscow records highest temperature at 32.7°C in over a century

Moscow on Thursday recorded its highest temperature in over a century, hitting 32.7°C and breaking a 1917 record, according to the FOBUS weather centre. As temperatures soared above 35°C across Russia amid heatwave, records were shattered from the Pacific coast to Siberia and European Russia. Moscow's temperature exceeded the previous 1917 record by half a degree.
