'Mosquito tornado' seen over Pune river, video goes viral

A video showing a dense cloud of mosquitoes swirling over a river in Pune has gone viral online. The phenomenon was witnessed in Keshavnagar and Kharadi areas of Pune and described as a "mosquito tornado". Taking note of the viral video, Pune Municipal Corporation said it has registered a complaint. A similar 'mosquito tornado' was spotted in Nicaragua last year.
