Most people face 'high genetic risk' for 3 common diseases: Study
A study found that most people worldwide have a "high genetic risk" for three of 28 common conditions, including diabetes, cardiovascular disease and schizophrenia. Researchers led by the University of Exeter said everyone could be genetically predisposed to multiple conditions, regardless of current health. They analysed data from two population biobanks, the UK Biobank and the US' All of Us.
