Mother and five children found dead in Vijayapura lake

Six members of a family, including a mother and her five children, were found dead in Vijayapura’s Bhutanal Lake on Wednesday. Police suspect suicide but are investigating other possibilities. A missing persons complaint was filed on August 24. The bodies were recovered and sent for post-mortem, while samples will be sent to the FSL for further examination.
