Mother Dairy has unveiled "India's first naturally degradable milk pouch in soil", which will be rolled out in Delhi-NCR from June 5 (World Environment Day). Unlike conventional plastic milk packets, which can take decades or even centuries to degrade, these packets will degrade within a few years. Consumers won't have to pay extra as milk prices will remain unchanged.
