Mother, daughter jump off train after men try to rape girl

A 40-year-old woman and her 14-year-old daughter were forced to jump off a running train after a group of 10 to 15 men tried to rape the girl on board the Howrah-Jodhpur Express on Saturday. Claiming that railway police on board did not help them, the woman alleged that they may have taken a bribe to let off the offenders.
