Mount Fuji remains snowless in November, breaks 130-year-old record
Japan's Mount Fuji has remained snowless so far this season, making it the latest time in the year it has remained bare since records began 130 years ago. Snowcaps begin to form on Fuji on October 2 on average and was recorded on October 5 last year. Unseasonably warm weather has caused a delay in snowfall, the meteorological office said.
