Mozilla halts crypto donations after backlash over climate impact

The Mozilla Foundation, the non-profit behind Firefox browser, is pausing the ability to accept cryptocurrency donations. This comes after Mozilla received backlash over the environmental impact of cryptocurrencies. "Everyone involved in the project should be witheringly ashamed of this decision to partner with planet-incinerating Ponzi grifters," Mozilla Founder Jamie Zawinski tweeted.
