MP Police launches 'FIR at doorstep' initiative on pilot basis

Madhya Pradesh Police has launched an initiative called 'FIR- Aapke Dwar' on pilot basis which enables people to file FIRs from their homes. The state Home Minister Narottam Mishra said after a complainant dials 100, police personnel will reach his/her residence to register the FIR. The initiative, launched across 23 police stations, will be under pilot basis till August 31.
