MP spends less on patients' daily meals than on cows, prisoners

The cost of three daily meals for patients at Jai Prakash Hospital in MP's Bhopal is ₹33 a day. Officially, state government provides ₹48 for a patient's meals but as per reports most hospitals are providing food at less than ₹40 a day. Notably, ₹40 and ₹75 is provided for a day's meals for cows at shelters and prisoners respectively.
