Madhya Pradesh West Discom disburses ₹543 cr solar subsidy in 15 districts

Madhya Pradesh West Discom has distributed ₹543 crore in subsidies via DBT to consumers installing rooftop solar plants under PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana across 15 Malwa-Nimar districts. Over 80,500 households have installed rooftop solar systems. Indore leads with 39,000 installations. Total installed rooftop solar capacity across all consumer categories has reached nearly 550 MW.
