MRF to invest ₹5,300 crore in Tamil Nadu, create 1,000 jobs

Tyre company MRF signed a memorandum of understanding with the Tamil Nadu government to invest ₹5,300 crore in the state over a period of 12 years. The company will establish a new tyre manufacturing unit in the state, which would create employment for 1,000 people, the company said. The company's shares closed at ₹1,40,490 on Thursday.
