Mrs World resigns after controversy over injuring Mrs Sri Lanka on stage

Mrs World 2020, Caroline Jurie, has resigned her title weeks after she was involved in a controversy. Jurie was arrested and released on bail after a scuffle at Mrs Sri Lanka pageant, where Jurie forcibly removed the winner's crown. "The first runner-up, Mrs Ireland World, Kate Schneider, will now become the new Mrs World 2020," the organisers said.
