MS Dhoni to captain CSK for rest of IPL 2025 as Gaikwad ruled out due to injury

MS Dhoni will captain Chennai Super Kings (CSK) for the rest of IPL 2025 as Ruturaj Gaikwad has been ruled out of the tournament due to injury. CSK head coach Stephen Fleming made the confirmation during a press conference on Thursday. CSK, who are currently placed ninth on the IPL 2025 points table, will face KKR on Friday.
